Monday morning a woman and a 5-year-old boy were injured in a car crash. Gwinnett County police stated the car veered off the road and collided with a tree. Both passengers were trapped in the vehicle before being transported for medical attention.

The child sustained significant injuries, but is in stable condition. The driver is in critical condition.
